Agreement between the Philippines & India

The Philippine Department of National Defense has signed a $368 million contract with BrahMos Aerospace. Under the agreement, the Philippines will acquire a shore-based BrahMos supersonic anti-ship cruise missile for its navy. The acquisition project began in 2017 and the Philippines wanted to buy 3 batteries for the anti-ship missile system. However, it remains to be seen how China will react to the acquisition.
