Government of Pakistan Announce No Tax on Calls, SMS & Internet

The government has announced that there will be no tax on phone calls, SMS and internet. Finance Advisor, Shaukat Tareen said that tax on phone calls, SMS, internet will not be applied, As the cabinet did not approve these proposals, For Budget 2021-22 one rupee on 3-minute call, 10 paisa tax on SMS was proposed.

During the Post Budget Press conference, Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has said, that due to non-approval the said proposed tax will not be implemented.
