British Company Launching Electric SUV in Pakistan. MG Motor UK Limited, is a British automotive company with headquarter in Birmingham England, the company is gearing up to launch its fully Electric SUV in Pakistan.

The news came after Javed Afridi (CEO, Haier & Owner Peshawar Zalmi) shared snaps of MG ZS along with Brochure of MG’s fully electric ZS EV (a crossover) on 25, May 2020. Later on, Test drive pictures of the SUV in the mountainous region of Pakistan emerged, which indicates that the vehicle would be usable in hilly areas of Pakistan.

The Company was founded in 1920 by Cecil Kimber. MG is already selling its Electric Vehicles in India, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and the UK. The expected Price in Pakistan would be around 45 to 50 Lacs and will be launched in two variants.

Reportedly MG is launching these Electric Vehicles by the end of this year. The British Company will be the first company to introduce a fully electric SUV in Pakistan.

After KIA returned to Pakistan with a gap of around One Decade. MG’s entry into Pakistani Auto Industry will open doors to several other big names currently reluctant to enter this emerging market of South Asia.
