Qatar’s interest in EuroSAM

Qatar has requested a re-offer to Eurosam medium-range air defence missile system. In the last ten years, France has delivered billions of dollars worth of military equipment. These include Rafale fighter jets, NH-90 helicopters, Phoenix helicopters and missiles such as the Meteor, MICA and Exocet. France has sold arms to Egypt during this period. As far as this air defence system is concerned, it has a maximum range of 100 kilometres. Its 3D radar can fire missiles to track 100 targets at a time and engage 16 at a time.
