Russia’s state-owned Rostek Corporation has handed over modernized long-range airborne radar to the military. Called the A50U, the radar is claimed to be able to detect new-generation aircraft, track more targets at once and guide more fighter aircraft than existing radar. It should be noted that the first radar of the A50 series was handed over to the Russian Armed Forces in 1989.
